Welcome back to Haiku Reviews! This is the 19th edition of Haiku Reviews, but you knew that from reading the title. I suppose that also means you already know that this collection of ten reviews is dedicated to the movies of 1985, so let's not waste any more time and jump right into it...
Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985)
Watched the Paul Reubens
documentary and now I
”get” Pee-wee Herman.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
I think I’m of the
last generation to get
’The Breakfast Club.’ Ouch.
Back to the Future (1985)
They really shouldn’t
have gotten rid of the ride
at Universal.
Clue (1985)
The whole cast is great,
but Tim Curry really was
once in a lifetime.
Legend (1985)
The whole cast is great,
but Tim Curry really was
once in a lifetime.
Weird Science (1985)
The movie is fine,
but the Oingo Boingo song
is straight-up fire.
After Hours (1985)
When Griffin says, “I’ll
probably get blamed for that,”
the crowd goes wild!
Witness (1985)
It’s a suspenseful
movie, but the biggest scare
is Patti LuPone!
Real Genius (1985)
I’m sorry Val, I
wanted to like this one more,
but it just didn’t play.
Re-Animator (1985)
If you want to read
my thoughts on this movie, you
can read them right here
